What’s Happening Around Little Washer This Spring 🌿

There’s something about Dublinl in April, the evenings stretch a little longer, there’s a bit more light in the day, and suddenly Glasnevin feels like it’s waking up again.

At Little Washer Glasnevin, we’re right in the middle of it all. Whether you’re heading to a match, a conference, a weekend stroll, or just out for a good coffee, this part of the city has plenty going on (and we’re here for all of it).

A Handy Spot for Croke Park Days

With Croke Park just down the area, we see the buzz build on match days and event nights. Spring is when things really start to pick up again,  from GAA fixtures to concerts and large-scale events returning to the stadium.

If you’re heading in early, we’re a perfect stop for coffee and something quick. If you’re on the way home, even better, sit in, recharge, or grab something to go.

Conferences, Meetings & Busy Work Days

We’re also right beside some of Dublin’s busiest working hubs, from DCU Innovation Campus to the Met Éireann offices just across from us.

That means weekdays are full of people popping in between meetings, grabbing lunch on the go, or taking a proper break away from their desks (which we fully support).

If you’re attending a conference in Glasnevin or DCU, keep us in mind, quick coffee, fresh pastries, or a relaxed lunch without the rush.

Slow Saturdays & Glasnevin Food Market

One of our favourite things about this neighbourhood? Saturdays.

The Glasnevin Food Market brings a lovely energy to the area every weekend, local brands, great food, and a reason to take your time. It’s the kind of morning where one coffee turns into two.

We’re just around the corner, so whether you’re starting your day with us or ending your market stroll here, we’ve got you covered.

Walks, Nature & a Bit of Fresh Air

Spring really shows off around here.

You’ve got the National Botanic Gardens in full bloom, one of the best spots in Dublin for a peaceful walk, and Glasnevin Cemetery, rich in history and surprisingly beautiful this time of year.

It’s the perfect combination: a walk, a wander, and then something good to eat afterwards (we’ll handle that part).

If You’d Rather Stay In… We’re on Just Eat

Not every day calls for heading out, and that’s fine too.

We’re now delivering with Just Eat from Wednesday to Sunday, so whether it’s coffee, lunch, or something comforting, you can have Little Washer delivered straight to your door.

Midweek Plans? Our Sister Spot Has You Covered

Just next door, our big sister restaurant The Washerwoman has kicked off something worth knowing about – the Saucy Series.

Every Wednesday from 5pm, it’s unlimited wings for €20, with a different flavour each week. Six weeks, six sauces, and if you make it through all six, you’ll be rewarded in week seven with wings and a drink on the house (just mention it when booking).

Honestly, it’s a pretty great excuse to lock in your Wednesdays.

And Then There’s Golden Hour 🍷🍕

While you’re at it, here’s another reason to love an evening at The Washerwoman.

We’ve come up with Golden Hour Sip & Slice – and it’s exactly what it sounds like.

From 5pm to 6:30pm, order any bottle of wine and we’ll send out a complimentary Margherita pizza to share. Any bottle from the list. A hot, fresh pizza straight from the kitchen.

It’s that easy stretch of the evening, the light is still in the sky, the day is winding down, and all you really need is a good glass of wine and something warm to pick at. We’ve just made that a little more special.

Valid for up to two people per bottle, so grab a seat, bring someone worth sharing a pizza with, and ease into your evening properly.

Golden Hour Sip & Slice runs daily from 5pm to 6:30pm at The Washerwoman, Glasnevin.

A Little Note on Spring 🌼

There’s a different kind of energy around now. The light is back, people are out a bit more, and there’s that quiet sense that summer isn’t too far off.

Whether you’re passing through for a match, a meeting, a market stroll or just a coffee, Little Washer is here for it.

Pop in, take a seat, or grab something on the go, whatever your day looks like.
